We are working with a fast growing manufacturer of sensor technology focused on environmental sensors targeting a range of markets such as automotive, consumer electronics, and industrial.
As Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be reporting to VP of Operations and have around 10 direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define, implement, and drive Operations strategy to optimize product ramp-up, costs, delivery, and supplier efficiency.
* Manage internal and external manufacturing to meet customer demands, ensuring on-time delivery, yield, and productivity targets.
* Oversee Operations Engineering, leading product and process improvements, product transfers, and yield optimization in collaboration with R&D.
* Lead Sales & Operations Planning to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities for stable short- and long-term planning.
* Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, engineering, quality, procurement, and leadership to ensure scalable, cost-effective manufacturing.
* Provide strong leadership, inspire teams, and mentor staff to foster continuous improvement.
* Manage teams across multiple sites in Germany (Karlsruhe/Reutlingen).
Key Qualifications:
* MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
* 10+ years of leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing, including fabless operations, technology development, and product engineering.
* Expertise in MEMS, ASIC process technologies, semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and test operations.
* Fluent in English and German.
* Additional oversight of teams in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
