Your seat to fill:
* Act as Assistant supporting the Director of Industrial Relations Child Safety in all regulatory and scientific affairs related to child restraint systems
* Track and assess regulatory, scientific, and technical developments impacting child safety and vehicle restraint systems
* Perform and support data-driven analyses and virtual simulations (e.g., modeling, scenario testing, comparative assessments) related to child safety performance
* Analyze and interpret complex datasets (e.g., simulation outputs, test results, research data) to support internal decision-making and regulatory positions
* Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and product development teams, providing scientific and regulatory input to support safe and future-ready product design
* Contribute to research activities and evidence generation used in regulatory discussions and standardization committees
* Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external regulatory or scientific audiences
* Support CYBEX representation at industry, regulatory, and standardization meetings, contributing data-based perspectives
* Assist in sharing CYBEX scientific work at conferences, workshops, and expert forums
Your stroll to CYBEX:
* Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Biomechanics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline
* Background or strong interest in data analytics, modeling, and virtual simulation techniques, ideally within a safety-critical or engineering environment
* Experience applying human body models (HBMs) in virtual crash simulations for injury prediction is highly desirable
* Ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and translate findings into clear conclusions and recommendations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences
* Interest in or exposure to child safety, child restraint systems, occupant biomechanics, or injury prevention is highly desirable
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, research, regulatory, and commercial teams
* Curious, adaptable, and motivated to learn within a dynamic international environment
* Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and internationally
* Fluent in English and German
