Your role:
We are looking for a senior procurement leader to drive site-level procurement strategy across our EMEA manufacturing network.
This role owns the regional execution of direct and indirect procurement at site level, leading teams across multiple locations and ensuring alignment with global category strategies while delivering local impact. You will play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and strong supplier partnerships across complex manufacturing operations.
You will lead and develop a regional team, partner closely with plant leadership and global procurement, and drive transformation of site procurement capabilities across EMEA.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong stakeholder influence, manufacturing procurement expertise, and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
Your responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Leads manufacturing site procurement staff in the European region.
2. Talent Development: Develops and mentors high-performing raw material sourcing teams, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented mindset and cultivating team members into trusted business partners.
3. Strategic Alignment: Collaborates closely with manufacturing site leadership to ensure alignment between site procurement and operational needs.
4. Supply Security: Guarantees supply security by meeting KPIs (on-time delivery, regulatory/quality compliance, cost efficiency, inventory management, and risk mitigation).
5. Spend Optimization: Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to consolidate supplier spend regionally and globally.
6. Compliance & Escalation: Ensures consistent supply of goods and services while maintaining compliance with laws, internal policies, and global strategies. Serves as the first point of escalation for supply issues.
7. Financial Analysis: Monitors and reports on pricing standards to minimize and predict Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
8. Strategy Implementation: Develops and implements regional site procurement strategies within the global category framework.
9. Transformation: Leads the transformation of site procurement by prioritizing evolving business needs.
10. Data Integrity: Validates the accuracy of spend data from regional sites to inform data-driven business decisions.
11. Supplier Relations: Establishes regional strategies for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
12. Policy Enforcement: Implements and enforces procurement rules, procedures, and financial policies (FRAP).
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
13. Significant procurement leadership experience in manufacturing / industrial environment
14. Experience managing teams across multiple sites or countries
15. Strong background in direct materials and site procurement
16. Proven ability to influence senior plant and operations stakeholders
17. Experience delivering cost, supply and performance improvements
18. Strong commercial and negotiation skills
19. Fluent English

20. Experience in regulated manufacturing (pharma, chemical, food, life sciences)
21. Experience working in a global matrix organisation
22. Experience leading procurement transformation or change programmes
23. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or similar
