For our department Global Competence Center Aggregates (CCA) we are seeking to recruit a Project Director Autonomous Mining (f/m/d). The mission of this role is to deliver high value autonomous mining operations via the deployment of autonomous technologies through Heidelberg Materials HME fleet. You will directly report to the position Director Global CCA. Your place of work is Heidelberg, Germany. YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE Identification of appropriate technologies to retrofit and automate existing fleet Development of business case and project plan to understand location, equipment, scale and scope of autonomous deployment Delivery of project plan via the project team, business stakeholders and third party providers to ensure determined business case is achieved Constant review on incoming technologies with an aim to continue progressing automation and project pipeline past the existing project plan Manage geopraphically dispersed technical teams Develop project plan and manage plan to time and budget YOUR PROFILE At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/project management and/or relevant trade qualifications Understanding of mining and HME applications with appropriate experience and or qualifications and to use this develop an appropriate automation strategy Project Management experience Understanding of project financials and use of this in building business case Working knowledge of company operational processes and associated systems Experience managing stakeholder expectations, communication, and leading stakeholder meetings Able to display confident assertiveness, be resilient, achievement-orientated, possess high levels of energy and enthusiasm and be flexible, open minded and industrious Possess strong interpersonal skills and have a proven ability to positively influence key internal and external stakeholders during periods of significant organisational change Display demonstrable competence in planning, organising, coaching and conflict resolution OUR OFFER We are convinced that only those who successfully realize their personal goals can also fully contribute professionally.
