Position Overview HR Operations Management: ● Drive the development and implementation of HR operational strategies aligned with business objectives. ● Oversee end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding. ● Manage HR budgets and resources. ● Lead the digitalization of HR processes and systems. ● Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to track operational effectiveness. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related issues and provide expert guidance on HR matters. Coordinate with global HR teams to ensure consistency while maintaining local relevance. ● Develop and maintain positive relationships with Works Councils while ensuring compliance with the Works Constitution Act (Betriebsverfassungsgesetz) in all HR practices and decisions. Act as a key liaison between management and Works Councils, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Compliance: ● Ensure full compliance with German labor laws, regulations, and employment standards. ● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of German employment legislation and best practices. ● Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements. ● Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: ● Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. ● Develop solutions for complex HR issues while considering business impact. ● Make informed decisions on HR matters that affect employee experience and business operations. ● Create and implement strategic solutions for workforce planning and talent management. ● Resolve escalated employee relations issues effectively. ● Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Change Management: ● Develop and implement change management strategies for new HR processes and systems. ● Lead digital transformation initiatives within HR operations. ● Guide the organization through HR-related transformational changes. ● Support managers and employees through organizational changes Communication and Interpersonal Skills: ● Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English. ● Effectively convey complex HR policies and procedures to employees at all levels of the organization. ● Create and deliver impactful presentations on HR initiatives and organizational changes. ● Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency in practices while adapting to local requirements Leadership and Management Skills: ● Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on HR matters. ● Coach, mentor and develop HR team members. ● Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the company, including senior management, employees, and Works Council members. ● Lead by example in promoting company culture and values. ● Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives. ● Facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
