Job description
9. Project Management R&T: Management and support of innovative research and technology projects in the field of airframe materials.
10. Material development: Development and validation of material and process technologies with focus on surfaces, paints, coatings and composites.
11. Test management: Definition, commissioning and monitoring of material tests as well as the subsequent analysis and documentation of the results.
12. Process optimization: Identification and introduction of new production technologies and creation of specifications and process standards.
13. Interface work: Close cooperation with multidisciplinary teams (design, production, quality) as well as external research partners and suppliers.
Your profile
14. Qualifications: Degree in engineering, materials science, material science or a comparable technical field.
15. Experience: At least 2 years of sound professional experience in engineering as well as in research and development (R&T), ideally in the aerospace industry.
16. Specialized knowledge: Practical experience in materials engineering (esp. composites/coatings) and project life cycle management.
17. Language skills: Business fluent in written and spoken English and advanced knowledge of German.
18. IT skills: Confident use of Google Workspace (or comparable cloud-based tools) and project management software.
19. Mobility: Willingness to travel (approx. 2x per month within Germany or Europe-wide).
