Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone.Job DescriptionWhat you get to do in this role:The Inspire Value Principal Strategist is a role that operates together with ServiceNow's customer-centric sales teams as well as with other key functions within ServiceNow (i.e., executive offices, industry go-to-market, solution sales) to identify, calculate, and develop value narratives for our most strategic customer and biggest bets. These narratives must demonstrate how ServiceNow's solutions impact our customers' P&L (reduce costs, increase revenue), show industry relevancy across our customer's priorities and challenges, and be compelling in nature. They will help our account teams to connect with senior and C-suite stakeholders and take our messaging, communications and experience to the next level with a financial acumen and industry-based lens.Customer AdvisoryEngage executives to determine and manage custom industry-aligned digital transformation advisory engagements at select customers, applying ServiceNow methodologiesLead discovery workshops with prospective and existing customer leadership and their teams to understand goals and challengesDocument and present insights and recommended solutions to meet customer goalsCreate high-quality deliverables that communicate strategic agreement, present multi-year roadmaps and document the full business case to justify actionCommunicate and advise in 1:1 and 1: many environments.Thought leadershipIdentify and lead to the creation of new IP (best practices, white papers, workshops, etc.)Improve current methods and frameworksWork with and enable the ServiceNow teams on a business consulting approach to salesQualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.10+ years of relevant experience as a Management consultant with exposure to cloud technologies or a customer-facing strategy manager with a technology vendorFocus and experience (5+ years) in a major industry (such as FSI, Telco, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.) is preferredExecutive / leadership experience working on digital transformation projects or enterprise software deployments preferredExceptional executive presentation skills – in person, on zoom, C-levelAbility to develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and sales organizations; demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior leaders, multiple teams / departments on strategy, messaging and customer engagementExperience with public speaking, meeting facilitation and white boardingHigh level of executive presence with a humble demeanorAnalytical and financial experienceEnjoyment working in a collaborative environmentAbility to travel up to 40% of the timeAdditional InformationWork PersonasWe approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust.
