To accelerate our growth in two of our most strategically critical channels, we are seeking a commercially driven Senior eCommerce & Pharma Leader to lead our eCommerce (with a strong focus on Amazon and eRetail) and Pharma (OTC / Apotheken) businesses in Germany.

This is a high‑impact leadership role with full P&L ownership, end‑to‑end responsibility, and strong visibility across local and regional leadership teams.

About the Role

As Senior eCommerce & Pharma Leader, you will define and execute the digital commerce and pharma growth strategy in Germany. You will scale existing partnerships—most notably Amazon—expand into new eCommerce channels, and drive profitable growth across both channels.

Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Digital, Category Management, and Supply Chain, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape SC Johnson’s omnichannel future in one of our most important European markets.

About the Team / Department

You will be part of the German Commercial Leadership community and work closely with cross‑functional teams across Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Regional eCommerce stakeholders. The role provides strong exposure to both local and regional leadership and the opportunity to build or further develop a high‑performing team.

Responsibilities

1. Own and drive the eCommerce & Pharma growth strategy in Germany, with full accountability for revenue, profitability, and market share

2. Lead the Amazon and eRetail agenda, including customer development, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and performance optimization

3. Build and scale new eCommerce partnerships, including marketplaces, pure players, distributors, and key digital accounts

4. Manage full P&L responsibility across both channels, including forecasting, pricing, trade investment, and margin optimization

5. Develop and execute annual sales plans, covering distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotional strategy

6. Lead customer negotiations with key accounts, buyers, and category managers, including annual agreements

7. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Category Management to ensure best‑in‑class execution

8. Act as a key interface to local and regional leadership, aligning on strategy, priorities, and performance

9. Leverage data, analytics, and eCommerce KPIs (e.g. conversion, traffic, share of search, availability) to drive insights and growth

Experience You’ll Bring

10. University degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field

11. Proven commercial experience in eCommerce / Online Sales, ideally within FMCG or Consumer Goods

12. Strong hands‑on expertise in Amazon Vendor or Seller Central, marketplaces, or eRetail environments

13. Demonstrated P&L ownership with a track record of delivering profitable growth

14. Experience working in a matrix and international environment

15. Deep understanding of the German retail and eCommerce landscape

16. Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

17. Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into clear actions

18. Fluent in German and English
