AIRNA Bio Germany GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Laboratory Operations Manager (f/m/d) – full time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Organization and coordination of laboratory operation for biology and chemistry
* Central point of contact for logistics: shipments, orders, inventory and stock refill
* Central point of contact for recording and maintaining of laboratory equipment
* Independent operation of autoclaves (preparation, follow-up of the autoclaved material)
* Working according to SOPs and regulations
* Responsible for handling of waste disposal and ensuring laboratory safety
* Maintenance, monitoring and cleaning of laboratory instruments
* Supervision of student assistants
* Familiarity with equipment IT / ELN need and troubleshooting is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
* Completed training as BTA, MTA or CTA or completed studies in the life sciences or a comparable qualification
* High degree of self-organization, reliability and strong communication skills
* Knowledge of molecular biology methods and instrumentation (e.g. cultivation of standard cell lines and primary cells, cloning, DNA and RNA isolation, fluorescence measurements, ...)
* Team player with excellent communication skills in spoken and written English; German desirable
