We are currentlyseeking a Director European Service (f/m/d),working remote, is responsible forleading a diverse team focused on consistently growing our revenue,delighting customers, continually improving our business processes,and enabling team members to achieve performance and careergoals.
The Director of EU Service leads across functional team of sales, service, and applicationsscientists with a total population of 40 associates and revenueresponsibility over $25M. This role requires a high level ofcollaboration with other functional groups, including Sales,Operations, Finance, and Human Resources. An integral part of thisrole is the ability to balance strategy and tactics and fostercreativity and innovation directed towards improving MolecularDevices’ service team’s execution, engagement, and coregrowth.
What we’ll get youdoing:
Collaboratively develop andexecute service strategies to drive core growth of service revenue,improve our workorder resolution time, and drive customer loyaltythrough strong post sale support.
Leading,improving, and sustaining key service processes: DailyManagement, Service Plan Sales Funnel Management, Inventorymanagement, team member onboarding,etc.
Provide direction, leadership and coachingfor all direct reports. Facilitate quality improvementand organizational productivity through deployment of standard workprocesses.
Leverage data analysis tools andcommercial operations partners to obtain business insights thatsupport accurate forecasting, revenue achievement, and team memberperformance optimization.
Collaborate withcross department business partners to support improvement acrossall Molecular Devices KPIs (core growth, working capital turns,inventory turns, associate retention,etc.).
Utilize and promote Danaher BusinessSystem tools to facilitate process improvements, associateenablement, and collaborative problem solving to consistentlysatisfy customers.
Champion engagement to buildorganizational and associate capabilities; develop future leaders,and build a bench with diversetalent.
Theessential requirements of the roleinclude:
7+ years of experienceleading service and leading associates throughchange.
5+ years of experience leading servicein the life science or diagnostics industry for an organizationwith a sales and serviceportfolio
Experience with Microsoftapplications, Salesforce.com, Power BI, ServiceMax,Oracle
Bachelor’s degreeor higher in an engineering, life sciences, or relateddiscipline
5+ years’ experience with DBS orsimilar lean business tools. Ideally having recognizedcertification for visual management or funnel managementtools.
