As Head of Security at Warmwind, you will make our AI-native operating system practically secure-end to end. Your mission is to design, build, and scale a modern security foundation that protects our cloud-hosted virtual desktops and core platform without slowing innovation. You’ll set the bar for how security is done in AI infrastructure: simple, robust, and relentlessly effective.
You’ll define the vision, lead execution, and grow a high-caliber team that keeps Warmwind trusted by design.
Tasks
* Own the security vision and strategy across infrastructure, product, and operations.
* Establish secure-by-default principles for our platform and development lifecycle.
* Build a high-impact security organization and culture that scales with the company.
* Partner with engineering and leadership to enable fast, safe shipping.
Requirements
Must-haves
* Proven leadership in security for modern cloud-native systems and products.
* Track record of turning security vision into simple, durable controls at scale.
* Strong technical depth and the ability to work hands-on when needed.
* Clear, pragmatic communicator; team builder; high ownership.
* On-site in Jena; English working language.
Nice-to-haves
* Experience around virtual desktops / remote workspaces and AI/agent platforms.
* Familiarity with our environment: Debian, Kubernetes, Keycloak, Grafana/Loki, React, TypeScript/NestJS, Postgres, Redis, GraphQL/WebSockets.
