Our robots serve clients in the exhibition, construction, and industrial layout industries, and we are currently growing our team in Europe.
THE ROLE
As a Sales & Customer Success Associate, you will be based in August Robotics’ Düsseldorf office and play a key role in driving revenue growth and ensuring long-term customer success across the European market. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Sales & Business Development
* Drive lead generation and outbound outreach across the European market for Lionel, our floor-marking robot
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads, conduct discovery calls, and deliver compelling product demonstrations
* Manage and progress opportunities through the sales pipeline, from first contact to deal closure
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations
* Take increasing ownership of the full sales cycle, including negotiation and closing
2. Customer Onboarding & Success
* Lead customer onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to deployment
* Act as the main point of contact for customers post-sale, building strong long-term relationships
* Proactively support customers throughout their lifecycle to drive satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
* Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
* Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve product and service delivery
3. Sales Enablement & CRM Management
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline, and account status in the CRM
* Track key metrics across sales and customer success to support forecasting and performance improvement
* Support the continuous improvement of sales materials, playbooks, and processes
YOUR SKILLS
What we are looking for:
* 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, customer success, or account management
* Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and close deals
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value to customers
* Proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders
* High level of customer empathy and a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience
* Ability to manage multiple opportunities and customer accounts simultaneously in a structured way
* Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with CRM tools and sales data
* Willingness to occasionally travel for customer meetings, demos, and onboarding
You must have:
* Eligibility to work in Germany
* Native-level German and fluent English
Nice to have:
* Additional European languages are a plus
* Experience in robotics, construction, or exhibition
* Familiarity with sales pipelines, CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
* Experience in full-cycle sales or customer lifecycle management
