We are looking for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer (m/f/d) – Infrastructure & Security to maintain and improve our backend IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and security of deployment and update systems for wind farms. The ideal candidate has strong Linux expertise, experience in IT security, and a proactive mindset to enhance system availability, automate processes, and mitigate security risks.
YOUR TASKS
1. Maintain, monitor, and improve backend IT systems for wind farm deployment and updates.
2. Automate system administration tasks to optimize performance, security, and uptime.
3. Proactively mitigate security risks through threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and security patching.
4. Monitor critical infrastructure components such as TLS certificates, storage capacity, and system availability.
5. Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
6. Develop and implement concepts for infrastructure hardening, observability, and scalability.
7. Provide local lab support and ensure smooth operation of development and testing environments.
YOUR PROFILE
8. Strong Linux expertise (Debian, Ubuntu, Proxmox).
9. Experience in IT security (threat mitigation, vulnerability tracking, security patching).
10. Proficiency in automation and scripting (Ansible, Bash, Python).
11. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes).
12. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible).
13. Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (tracing, metrics, logging).
14. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitLab, GitHub).
15. Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure Portal & DevOps).
16. Proficiency in Cloud-Init and provisioning tools.
17. Understanding of software architecture for system reliability.
18. Familiarity with MinIO, Apache, Nginx, Ubuntu repositories, and Ansible Galaxies.
19. Good - very good English skills are required; German and Spanish language skills are a plus.
