A strong portfolio showcasing your animation and/or technical art skills.
Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Solid understanding of animation principles and character rigging.
Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and the ability to implement animations within those engines.
