* You'll lead a high-performing team of firmware and electronics developers, providing guidance and support for their growth and development.
* You'll oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of embedded systems projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* You'll collaborate with various departments and locations, fostering partnerships and integrating external resources.
* You'll develop modular platform solutions, incorporating new technologies and trends in embedded systems, and promoting open-source principles within our organization.
* You'll implement best practices in product/software development, system/firmware architecture, and verification/validation strategies to ensure quality and reliability.
Requirements
* A degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
* Several years of experience in developing embedded systems, preferably in medical device development, are necessary.
* Leadership experience, managing high-performing teams in regulated environments and cybersecurity, is essential.
* Collaboration and management of external partners globally are also required.
* Knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, Python, and application knowledge of Linux-based real-time operating systems are necessary.
* Familiarity with modern product and software development methods and associated CI/CD tools is essential.
* Project management skills, using both classic and agile approaches as needed, are required.
