My forward-thinking client are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IC Layout Engineer to support the development of high-speed integrated circuits for next-generation communication systems.
Responsibilities
* Develop physical layouts for integrated circuits used in advanced high-speed data communication systems
* Conduct verification at both block and top levels to ensure:
* Alignment with schematics
* Compliance with fabrication and reliability standards
* Participate in cross-functional collaboration with hardware and systems teams
* Apply standardised design practices to support efficient and consistent development workflows
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Solid experience in physical layout of RF or mixed-signal integrated circuits
* Skilled in using industry-standard tools for IC design (e.g., Cadence or similar platforms)
* In-depth understanding of layout flows optimised for manufacturability and long-term reliability
* Familiarity with advanced semiconductor technologies is a bonus
* Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving capabilities
* Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced environments
* Clear communicator with strong English skills (German is advantageous)
