Responsibilities:
* Spearhead the development, optimisation and validation of ISH, FISH and CISH assays for in-vitro diagnostic applications.
* Professional and disciplinary leadership of the ISH development team.
* Management of analytical and clinical performance studies in accordance with IVDR.
* Evaluation of new technologies and structures, as well as development of strategic concepts and product roadmaps.
* Establishment, maintenance and scientific management of external collaborations with academic and industrial partners
* Presentation of development and study results at specialist conferences, as well as participation in publications and technical documentation.
Your Profile:
* Completed university degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or a comparable scientific field, preferably with a PhD
* Several years of industry experience in the field of in-situ hybridisation (ISH), with proven responsibility for technology and product development
* Strong leadership experience in managing interdisciplinary R&D teams and in controlling complex development projects
* Strong communication and decision-making skills, particularly in conveying complex topics at management and stakeholder level
* Solid expertise in project management, including strategic prioritisation and resource allocation
* Competence in developing R&D strategies based on company goals, market trends and regulatory requirements
* In-depth understanding of modern ISH technologies (including ISH, FISH, RNA-ISH, multiplex formats)
* German and English at C1 level (CEFR)
