Your new job includes
We are currently establishing a new legal entity in Rødby to operate our retail business on ferry routes as well as in border shops.
In the position of Finance Manager (m/f/d), you will be working hybrid or be based in Rødby and report directly to the Managing Director.
You will act as the central point of contact for all finance‑related matters, ensuring high‑quality financial reporting, strong business partnering, and full compliance with our internal controlling standards. You translate operational performance into meaningful financial insights and support decision‑making for local management and Headquarters.
In particular, you will
* prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports in line with HQ-defined controlling and reporting frameworks
* analyse local commercial and operational performance, provide financial insights, and proactively identify improvement opportunities
* maintain and develop financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling
* ensure high-quality data, compliance, and documentation related to statutory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards
* support local management with financial analyses for decision-making, risk assessments, and business performance reviews
* collaborate closely with HQ Controlling and act as a strong local business partner to drive operational performance and improvement initiatives
Preferred Profile
* A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field
* Several years of experience in Controlling, Business Analysis, or Corporate Finance, ideally in an international or operational environment
* Strong analytical skills and confidence in working with complex data sets, including SAP and MS Office (especially Excel) as well as BI/Power BI tools
* Experience in forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario analysis, combined with a structured and detail‑oriented working style
* Excellent English skills, strong communication abilities, and the capability to explain financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
* A reliable, independent, and business‑partner‑oriented mindset, able to collaborate across local teams and HQ functions
