Your Tasks You develop and enhance enterprise applications that are integral to the automation of supply chain processes within one of Europe’s largest retail organizations. You are part of a highly agile and dynamic team that takes ownership of a core system driving accurate forecasting, efficient replenishment, and seamless logistics operations. You contribute across the entire development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and operations—ensuring high quality and performance. You work end-to-end on the application, gaining deep insights into its architecture and functionality while making a direct impact on business-critical processes. Your Profile You have initial experience or a solid understanding of backend development using Kotlin, Java, or similar languages. You’ve worked with or are learning frontend technologies like Vue, React, or comparable frameworks. You have hands-on experience with cloud-native and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. You are familiar with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB. You understand the fundamentals of web communication (e.g., HTTP, REST) and messaging systems. You are capable of writing automated tests. You have a basic understanding of modern software architecture. You care about writing secure and maintainable code. Concepts like Clean Code or design patterns (e.g., Strategy Pattern) may already be familiar to you. You are proficient in English and are open to learning German if not already familiar.
