Regional Key Account Manager - Pharma & Healthcare (m/f/x)
Job description
•Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with pharmaceutical and healthcare key accounts, ensuring strict adherence to GDP standards,
•Driving business growth in the Pharma & Healthcare sector with a strong emphasis on cold chain logistics and temperature-controlled solutions,
•Acting as the primary liaison for pharma customers, coordinating with internal teams to guarantee service excellence and regulatory compliance,
•Leading and supporting national account managers to strengthen customer relationships and expanding cold chain capabilities regionally.
•Generating high-quality sales leads for global network, focusing on pharma-specific certifications (CEIV, GDP) and cold chain expertise,
•Managing tender processes for pharma accounts, ensuring accurate handover of compliance documentation and cold chain requirements,
•Collaborating with Lines of Business and Business Solutions to develop tailored value propositions for pharmaceutical clients, including risk management and temperature-sensitive supply chain optimization,
•Developing strong customer relationships in line with customer needs based on a portfolio of Regional Key Accounts,
•Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities to expand regional presence and influence,
•Serving as the key contact for customers and cooperating with other departments to ensure optimum customer service,
•Functionally leading a team of national account managers to grow customer relationships,
•Allocating tenders to the correct team in line with the tender process and ensuring proper hand-over of customer information.
Applicant's profile
•Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Logistics or a related field,
•5 to 7 years of professional experience in account management with proven success in Pharma & Healthcare Logistics,
•Demonstrated expertise in cold chain logistics, temperature-controlled transport, and GDP compliance,
•Strong negotiation skills and proactive approach to market development,
•Experience in concept sales and understanding of healthcare customer psychology and purchasing patterns,
•Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus,
•Willing to travel.
