Your tasks
1. Functional as well as Team responsibility for pbb’s Asset Liability Management department
2. Shape Treasury’s strategy (including funding, liquidity, interest rate & fx)
3. Drive the agenda of the ALCO facilitating strategic financial resource management discussions with the executive board
4. Steer Treasury desks based on transparent Treasury p&l framework enabling effective monitoring, optimization and performance management
5. Enhance the funds transfer pricing framework (incl. funding spread calibration) ensuring an effective & efficient employment of the bank’s financial resources
6. Dedicated and holistic coverage of rating agencies and Treasury topics for regulators
7. Collaborate with internal partners across Treasury, Finance, Risk & Business to align Treasury strategies with broader objectives
8. Drive strategic initiatives for pbb and Group Treasury ensuring alignment with the bank’s broader strategic goals and fostering collaboration across Treasury functions
How to convince us
9. Master or Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g. CFA, ACT) are a plus
10. 10 to 15+ years of experience in Treasury & Capital Markets with broad exposure across asset liability management (incl. banking book management), liquidity, funding and capital management, preferably within a banking or financial services environment
11. Strong leadership skills managing diverse teams across locations through organizational change
12. Strong strategic mindset with a track record of developing and implementing successful Treasury strategies balancing risk and return
13. In-depth Treasury markets, products and ideally trading experience
14. Excellent influencing skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders (incl. regulators and rating agencies)
15. A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adapt at driving complex projects to completion
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with excellent communication (English and German) and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to internal and external stakeholders
17. Excellent IT skills, incl. proficiency in MS Office products, Treasury systems and preferably programming experience
