Job SummaryKey Responsibilities:Perform preventative and corrective maintenance checks on-site to facility componentsRepair and maintain plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systemsOperate and maintain critical infrastructure under supervision of senior technical staffMonitor Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolve alarm issues while following standard operating proceduresYou will also be responsible for supporting work approval process for service providers on moderately difficult maintenance work, tracking briefing at start of work, work during day, and final review of work carried out. Ensures vendor maintenance activities are carried out as per Equinix's standard operating procedures.Additionally, you will perform site logs for permits, identify Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and make recommendations, respond to all on-site incidents, including failures, problems, and delays, and use substantial understanding in following operating procedures to support on-site administration.Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with others to resolve facility incidents, effectively collaborate within department, mentor team members on general maintenance activities, and provide stakeholders with inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels of critical parts and equipment.Required Qualifications:Typically requires high school diploma and proven years of equivalent work experienceThis is a fast-paced environment that requires motivated and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about working in data centers.
