Job Description Summary Job Description Your Responsibilities As an HVDC Secondary Lead Engineer, you will take ownership of the design and engineering of control and low voltage systems for EPC substation projects: Define all required equipment and documentation to meet customer needs, including Control & Protection cubicles Develop basic and detailed designs using CAD tools in compliance with contractual specifications Prepare technical specifications for LV equipment in collaboration with internal partners and external suppliers Analyze technical proposals, participate in clarifications with suppliers, and support the Sourcing department Contribute to factory acceptance tests (FAT) and equipment inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines Work closely with project management, engineering, and sourcing teams to ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence Your Profile Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education Several years of experience in HV transmission and substation projects (including control & protection systems, turnkey projects, and interfaces) Strong expertise in LV installations, digital and conventional control systems, and familiarity with international standards Skilled in designing schematics, cable synoptics, and principle diagrams Proficient in CAD tools and secondary design applications Fluent in English (written and spoken); strong communication and teamwork skills Analytical mindset, proactive problem-solver, and collaborative team player What We Offer An international working environment within Grid Systems Integration in Berlin A key engineering role with flexibility in work arrangements Competitive compensation and performance-based bonus Strong development and career growth opportunities The chance to play a vital role in the global energy transition Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
