You are acting as a System Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.
Your responsibilities:
6. Analyse client and customer requirements (specifications)
7. Develop system and subsystem concepts and designs, ensuring alignment with the existing product reference architecture and compliance with relevant norms and standards
8. Prepare technical requirements documentation (specifications) for approval by the client or customer Oversee downstream development and construction activities to secure interoperability and full system functionality
9. Supervise production processes, including monitoring material procurement and supplier performance
10. Manage system and subsystem integration, oversee qualification activities, and ensure compliance with product safety standards
11. Contribute to the preparation of proposals, cost estimations, and schedule planning
12. Drive continuous improvement and the evolution of the product reference architecture through the adoption of new technologies
Your profile:
13. Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace or comparable
14. Several years of work experience in Engineering and Aerospace
15. Experience in requirements management, change management, and system design within aviation systems or test facility development
16. Knowledge and practical experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
17. Knowledge of industry standards such as EN61010, EN62368 and aviation-specific standards including EN9100, DO-178C, and DO-330
18. Practical experience in system integration as well as conducting qualification, verification and validation tests
19. Confident handling of MS-Office
20. Familiarity with system engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, Jira, 3DExperience Tool Suite, and Capital
21. Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written
