LCV APS-2 Germany: Senior Security Technician
Job Summary
As a Senior Security Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and issuing / receiving arms rooms keys in accordance with AR 190-11. You will support complex security operations following standard processes to uphold the organization's security standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Operate within established procedures to ensure the effective functioning of security systems and apparatuses.
2. Maintain and issue / receive arms room keys in accordance with AR 190-11
3. Maintain and issue / receive other installation keys in accordance with KBR key control procedures.
4. Conduct formal inquiries into criminal acts and violations of company policy.
5. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while interacting with personnel and visitors.
6. Ensure timely and accurate completion of KBR Security reports.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
8. Must be a U.S. Citizen
9. Must meet requirements to be appointed a key custodian in accordance with U.S. Army Regulation (AR) 190-11.
10. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in security-related roles.
11. Must be fluent in English.
12. Requires strong computer skills including the MS Office Suite.
13. General knowledge of security methods and doctrines is required.
14. Requires a valid United States passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
15. Familiarity with NISPOM and associated training.
16. Additional certifications or training in security management or related fields.
17. Experience with U.S. Government base access submission and approval procedures
18. Experience with arms room key control procedures as prescribed in AR 190-11.
