Your tasks
11. Designing infrastructure: You will be responsible for the planning, construction and smooth operation of process networks and state-of-the-art control system infrastructures in the water technology environment (OT).
12. Interface & Security: You optimize the communication between systems, controls and IT systems – with a strong focus on firewalls, network and security structures.
13. System administration: The configuration and maintenance of virtual and physical server and client systems is in your hands.
14. Critical Infrastructure & Cyber Security: You actively participate in maintenance and updates and successfully implement the high requirements of critical infrastructure (e.g. NIS 2 / §8a BSIG).
15. Quality guarantee: Through structured fault analyses, functional tests and complete documentation, you keep the plant operation running smoothly.
Your profile
16. You are an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration or have a comparable technical qualification (e.g. in the field of computer science / electrical engineering).
17. You have sound experience in network administration at the interface of IT and OT – ideally already in the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environment.
18. Knowledge of control and regulation technology as well as experience with automation systems (e.g. Siemens) sets you apart.
19. You work in a structured and careful manner and are aware of the high level of responsibility involved in critical infrastructure .
20. You are naturally willing to take on (well-paid) on-call duties .
21. Fluent German skills at least at C1 level
