In this context, our centralized Group Engineering Organization (GEO) serves as a key factor that provides our Group with the expertise, methodology and personnel for the successful implementation of strategic projects.

Responsibilities
* Lead the continuous development of our Project Excellence team
* Identify opportunities and implement enhanced project management solutions
* Further develop best practices in project management and cost estimation
* Build and maintain an efficient knowledge management system to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in project management
* Analyze project maturity and outcomes and derive actions to optimize project execution and efficiency
* Develop and implement training programs for project management teams to enhance skills in project execution and control
* Work closely with other departments to ensure goal achievement and continuous improvement
* Install PM-Benchmarks & KPI-based reporting
* Support the successful execution and monitoring of complex engineering projects
Candidate Profile
* Engineering degree or comparable qualification
* Proven track record in plant engineering/large capital projects, with several years of experience at Project Director level
* Deep understanding of international project management standards and procedures and their implementation
* Experience in Large Capital Project maturity-reviews (e.g., PDRI-based)
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams and implementing improvement processes
* Profound understanding of chemical or metallurgical production processes and requirements
* Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to identifying and implementing excellence measures
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, combined with a hands-on attitude
* Fluent in spoken and written English; German language skills are beneficial
* Willingness to travel
