We are looking for a talented professional to fill the position of Vertragsmanager/Kaufmännischer Projektleiter EP/EPC. As part of our team, you will be responsible for active support in creating EP-/EPC-contract proposals and participating in contract negotiations with customers. Your tasks will include reviewing contract drafts, including risk assessment for management consulting, as well as editing and negotiating EP/EPC/M contracts. You will also be responsible for developing consortium contracts in close collaboration with supply chain management.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the analysis of tenders and developing offer concepts with a focus on EP/EPC. In addition, you will work closely with tax consultants to assess local tax risks during the tendering phase. You will be responsible for evaluating and defining requirements for operation sites for EP-/EPC-contracts in cooperation with internal interfaces (e.g., accounting, controlling, personnel).
You will be responsible for cost control (baseline, ongoing order calculation, Soll-Ist comparison), identifying cost drivers, and promoting cost-minimizing measures. You will plan and coordinate specific financial aspects of orders, as well as maintain contact with customers, advisors, authorities, ministries, representatives, consortia, suppliers, and other project participants, including travel activities.
You will initiate bank guarantees, group guarantees, establish Incoterms, manage advances, monitor cash flows, and coordinate insurance matters. You will develop solutions for obtaining work permits and visas (including coordination with local authorities and customers). You will provide demand-oriented financial support on construction sites (local purchases, claims management, etc.) and actively track projects in SAP.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration, economics, or law, as well as experience in commercial project management, preferably in industrial plant construction, particularly cement plant construction. They should have excellent knowledge of international contract law and consortium agreements. The candidate should be fluent in German and English, both in writing and speaking. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP applications (e.g., SAP) is desirable.
