Cybersecurity Specialist (m/f/d)
In this role, you will be responsible for technical security concepts, play a key role in architectural decisions, and support both day-to-day operations and the expansion of our security measures.

What to expect – your role with impact:
* You will analyze and assess the IT security landscape, conduct risk analyses, further develop security posture assessments, and derive appropriate measures for risk mitigation
* You will investigate and handle security incidents, implement effective countermeasures, and optimize detection mechanisms (e.g., SIEM use cases)
* You will perform vulnerability scans and incorporate the results into the subsequent processing workflow
* You will further develop IT security processes, policies, and standards, review current requirements and best practices, and support secure software development
* You will work closely with our Information Security Officer as well as internal and external stakeholders, prepare decision-making documents for management and business units, and conduct training and awareness campaigns
* You will assist with audits and internal IT projects
What you bring to the table – professionally and personally:
* You have the appropriate qualifications (degree in computer science, IT security, or comparable training) and already have experience in the field of cybersecurity
* You have experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), and common security technologies (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, or IDS/IPS)
* You have practical experience with IT security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or BSI Basic Protection
* You work analytically and systematically and impress with a solution-oriented approach
* You communicate confidently and clearly, even on complex topics, and have very good German and good English skills
In addition, the following skills are advantageous:
* Basic understanding of cloud security concepts (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
* Knowledge of current regulatory requirements in the field of IT security (e.g., NIS2)
* Experience with or interest in the automation of security processes (e.g., SOAR)
* Familiarity with common attack patterns and threat models (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
