As Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for maintaining regular on-site customer interactions and managing strategic relationships within the GAS region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), or alternatively within the United Kingdom.
As part of a European team, you will work remotely from home or on-site at our customers locations.
* Identify new business opportunities, analyze market intelligence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans, including sales forecasting and achieving margin and growth targets.
* Work closely together with the proposal team to help creating customer-focused proposals
* define pricing strategies and cost targets.
* Negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms with customers and partners.
* Facilitate technical and production support while ensuring effective internal communication and collaboration.
* Provide input on product roadmaps, engage in strategic planning, and conduct regular account reviews.
* Academical degree in business or technical studies
* Min. 3-5 years of professional experience in a commercial role in energy, Oil & Gas or industrial segment
* Existing network with relevant end-users in the territory
* Solid technical understanding of large industrial engines, turbines and power applications
* Solid knowledge of commercial principles (cost, pricing, volume discounts, payment) combined with proven negotiation skills
* Excellent independent judgement, decision making and problem-solving skill
* Excellent English and German* communication skills
* Commitment to travel to a greater extent (70%)
