We are looking for a Team Leader with strong communication, and decision-making skills who is able to take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of the network team to ensure an efficient, service-oriented team organization.
You will have the overall responsibility for the strategic orientation, architecture, standardization and stable operation of the company-wide network infrastructure and ensure that network services are provided sustainably, securely, and economically in line with the company's objectives.
Your responsibilities:
1. Definition and further development of the network strategy and target architecture
2. Derive technical roadmaps from business, security, and compliance requirements
3. Evaluation of new technologies and market trends and derivation of recommendations for action
4. Responsibility for architecture standards, policies and governance in the network environment
5. Responsibility for compliance with standards, policies and regulatory requirements
6. Control, coordination and quality control of external service providers
7. Escalation instance for complex technical issues and critical incidents
8. Ensuring timely and quality-assured processing of second-level tickets
9. Ensuring stable operation of the LAN infrastructure, smooth operation of the corporate Wi-Fi, and operation of the firewall and perimeter infrastructure
10. Responsibility for the secure operation of network transitions in accordance with company policies
11. Establishment and further development of monitoring, reporting and documentation standards
12. Ensuring complete and audit-proof configuration and system documentation
Your qualifications:
13. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
14. In-depth knowledge of network architectures, design and operational models
15. Comprehensive understanding of the current network and infrastructure market
16. Experience in defining architectural standards and target architectures
17. Proven track record in leading technical teams
18. Relevant network certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are advantageous
19. High customer and service orientation as well as a structured, responsible, and solution-oriented work style
20. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams
21. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
