What you’ll do
1. Lead UX research projects for the Modeling and Governance group
2. Gain meaningful and actionable user insight along the complete product development lifecycle
3. Gain, maintain and grow a deep understanding of the domain, our customers and our users, their needs and context of work
4. Partner with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to mutually drive continuous discovery and make sure that what you learn as a team sticks and directly informs product- and design decision making
5. Enable and empower designers, teams and stakeholders to follow user centric ways of working and encourage use of research
6. Adopt, establish, maintain and evangelize best practices for UX Research and actively seek opportunities to improve processes and methods employed
7. Establish and maintain data driven mindset and practice and guide teams and stakeholders on establishing and using user-relevant KPIs
8. Actively participate with design reviews, offering a researchers' perspective on design decisions and advocating for users' POV in decision making.
What you bring
9. Previous experience within agile software development teams and proven goal-oriented mindset
10. Background in B2B / Enterprise tool design / research or/and in data analysis/visualization projects (preferred but not mandatory)
11. Experience conducting user experience / design research for complex domains
12. Working with both quantitative and qualitative data in relation to design research with knowledge in knowing when to apply those methods
13. Handling multiple concurrent studies while proactively seeking research opportunities and consulting with various stakeholders
14. Great communication and storytelling skills
15. Graduate degree in Human Factors, HCI, Design, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
16. Fluent communication in English, German is advantageous
