Key Responsibilities
* Design, programming, and testing automation systems using industry-standard tools, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
* Develop automation functions and support their integration into existing systems.
* Facilitate project coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication and efficient project progress.
* Maintain and support automation systems post-implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
* Oversee subsystem integrations, ensuring seamless operation across all components.
* Lead commissioning activities and drive optimisation of automation solutions
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Hold a degree or recognised qualification as a state-certified technician, electrical engineer, or similar.
* Demonstrate at least three years' hands-on experience in automation system design, programming, and maintenance.
* Proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal / PCS7
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German, with a good command of English.
* Strong customer service ethos and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Previous experience in automation projects
* Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to automation.
* Experience with HMI development and control system integration.
* Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and communicate complex technical information clearly.
