You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
* Assuming responsibility for performing measurement tasks using 3D coordinate measuring machines, standard and special measuring equipment and serving as the main contact at the plant for all measurement-related tasks
* Creating and maintaining programs for CNC-controlled 3D coordinate measuring machine
* Performing measurements on individual parts, components, and complete battery systems during sampling and series-accompanying inspections
* Creating measurement reports according to defined standards and evaluating measurement results using statistical method
This is what you bring to us:
* Successfully completed vocational training in a metalworking profession; an additional qualification as a state-certified technician in mechanical engineering is desirable
* Experience in handling measuring machines and other testing equipment
* Knowledge in programming 3D coordinate measuring machines, ideally with PC-DMIS measuring software
* Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and solid knowledge of generally applicable standards
* Proficient in MS Office applications and good command of English
* Responsible and team-oriented working style as well as willingness to work in shift
