Position Description
• Provide instructions and perform controls on regulatory reporting input and output data whenever necessary
• Ability to performing complex regulatory reporting outputs by his own
• Manging needs for the team to work in the regulatory reporting software BAIS and additional TheMIS tools
o Definition and maintenance of implementation for BAIS data definition and delivery of data out of BAIS
o Maintaining related module framework
o Design of test cases and management (sometimes execution) of related testing
o Management and preparation of reporting workflow and workflow documentation (policies, procedures, handbooks)
o Manage and support preparation of initial reporting
o Manage preparation and transmission of initial reporting
o All aspects may include direct involvement in preparation
• Managing aspect requiring further review of regulatory reporting aspects, design necessary requirements
• Preparation and annual update of procedures
• Put controls in place to ensure completeness and accuracy of regulatory reports and consistency between various reports
• Contact to internal and external auditors
• Contact to any ad-hoc or related queries concerning regulatory reporting
• Responsible for regulatory reporting and ability to advise under described aspects to respective authority
• Provide high-quality and well-founded answers to regulator’s questions to regulatory reporting packages and ad-hoc inquiries
• Identify errors, analyse the root cause, propose and implement solutions concerning any regulatory reporting matters
• Develop controls in order to reinforce and enhance the governance and the control environment and identify data quality issues
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
• Previous related experience in a regulatory reporting role (> 10 years) within a financial institutions or consultancy firm
• Deep knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
• Educated to Bachelors / masters level; any professional qualification is considered as a plus
• Be able to understand complex concepts, challenge them and provide explanations in a clear and precise way
• Strong analytical, numerical and IT skills
• Experience in managing a team
