Area Manager (Logistics) opens immediately.
Responsibilities
* Lead one of the key teams in the logistics center: inbound, storage, picking, packing or shipping.
* Ensure smooth workflow and exceed customer expectations.
* Manage a team of about 80–120 staff, train, integrate and develop motivation and performance.
* Maintain high process quality and achieve KPI goals.
* Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity and improve service quality for customers within your area.
* Analyze shift schedules, implement operational excellence measures.
* Collaborate with leadership to standardize shift procedures.
Qualifications
Basic
* University, FH or equivalent degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
* Leadership experience.
* Experience communicating with stakeholders, including colleagues and leaders.
* Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to justify business decisions.
* Willingness to work flexible times and shift work.
* Advanced German and English proficiency.
Preferred
* Experience with Lean, Six‑Sigma and Kaizen methods.
* Experience in a different logistics environment.
* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
