Job Description: Job Overview The ICT (Industrial & Commercial Transportation) Business Development team is responsible for ideation, development, and championing of our highest potential organic and inorganic growth opportunities through the Mergers and Acquisition process. The team plays the role of trusted advisors to the ICT executive team and plays a pivotal role in identifying and developing opportunities to achieve our vision on portfolio expansion and growth, through a combination of organic and inorganic efforts. As the Manager (m/f/d) - Global Business Development, you will work with diverse and cross-functional teams to ensure that Industrial and Commercial Transportation BU (ICT) is executing on our key strategic growth initiatives. u202fu202f As a key member of the ICT Business Development Team, the Manager (m/f/d) of Business Development (BD) will advise BD leadership team on selecting the most attractive acquisition targets to create value (e.g. strengthen product portfolio, go-to-market capabilities, client base, etc.) and champion organizational focus on most attractive opportunities. The role will engage with external stakeholders (customers, partners, regulators, etc.) and internal stakeholders (sales, product management, engineering, operations, finance, etc.) to identify, conceive, develop, and champion inorganic growth opportunities that expand Total Addressable Markets, Serviceable Addressable Markets, and margins. Further, the role will help identify new current and future profit-pools through a deep understanding of customers, competitors, partners, and the broader ecosystem. Job Requirements Drives near-term and long-term business development strategies and annual business development plans for relevant area to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. Recognizes new market segments and opportunities for business development, makes a calculation of returns and investment, and helps gain agreement for the investment, resources, and actions required for the developments.
