The University of Applied Sciences offers six dual bachelor's degree programs. The Hamburg campus was opened in October 2013. Eight part-time master's degree programs as well as continuing education modules and certificate courses are offered here. Your tasks In this position, you will be the first point of contact for user problems and will take on the following tasks, among others: You will be the first point of contact for our users—both on site and by phone—and will use your expertise to provide fast and solution-oriented help with everyday IT issues. You will play an important role in the IT support process: you will categorize tickets in the central ticket system, taking into account ITIL-based IT processes and their prioritization. You create user documentation and continuously develop it further. Through improvement, adaptation, and new ideas, you ensure that our users always receive the best possible support. You look after our presentation and event technology and ensure that everything runs smoothly – from the technology in the meeting room to large events. You will be actively involved in IT projects. You will work closely with external partners (SaaS, managed services, system houses) and maintain clear, comprehensible IT documentation. Together with the team, you will keep our diverse IT landscape running smoothly. This includes: Microsoft Windows servers/services (M365 and on-prem), Linux systems, database applications, VMware infrastructure, Microsoft Azure and AVD, storage solutions (e.g., DataCore), and backup systems (Veeam, Microsoft). Your profile In addition to completing training as an IT specialist (or equivalent), you already have experience in user and IT support—ideally in a Microsoft environment—and are well versed in supporting M365 environments. Ideally, you have already worked according to ITIL and feel comfortable in heterogeneous IT landscapes. You are confident in using tools such as Microsoft 365, PowerShell, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux. You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and a high level of quality awareness. You are enthusiastic about technology and quickly familiarize yourself with new IT areas. No matter what the topic, technical or not, you live and love the service concept and adapt to your counterpart.
