Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Software Engineer for Simulation UI Systems in Manching.
Your Responsibilities:
7. Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
8. Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations
9. Define and design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
10. Design, develop, test and maintain software with C++ & Qt/QML by writing clean, efficient and maintainable code, and follow software development best practices
11. Analyze and debug software issues, and fix bugs
12. Identify and address technical risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed
13. Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to software development methodolgy
14. Participate in code reviews and ensure the code meets the defined coding standards
15. Ensure the software system design and architecture is scalable, maintainable and can be integrated with other systems
Your Profile:
16. Completed studies in computer science, software engineer or a comparable qualification
17. Several years of work experience in IT / information systems
18. Deep knowledge in C++ and Qt/QML is required (to program surfaces)
19. Simulation background is helpful
20. Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
