As the Key Account Manager for Germany & Austria, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of WaterWipes in two of our most strategic markets. This is not just an account management role—it’s an opportunity to drive growth, influence strategy, and make a tangible impact on a globally recognised brand. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your expertise in the German retail landscape and your ability to build strong relationships will be key to success. Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive business roadmap for Germany & Austria, ensuring alignment with regional and global commercial strategies.
Identify emerging trends and opportunities to strengthen WaterWipes’ market position across retail, drugstore, and online channels.
Account Management & Growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners, acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial matters.
Sales Forecasting & Performance Tracking
Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts, ensuring optimal stock levels and smooth supply chain operations.
Collaborate with the brand activation team to plan and execute impactful in-store and online campaigns.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Compliance & Governance
~ Minimum 5+ years of experience in FMCG key account management with proven success in driving growth and profitability.
Deep understanding of the German retail landscape (LEH) and strong experience with drugstore channels (dm, Rossmann, Müller).
Strong commercial acumen with advanced knowledge of P&L management and financial analysis.
Ability to leverage data and insights to influence strategic decisions and optimise performance.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM or sales management systems.
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing online accounts such as ShopApo, DocMorris.
Industry certifications in sales, negotiation, or category management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
Supports other as well as working independently when appropriate.
