Our client, a company specialized in developing digital applications and connected services for the mining sector, is recruiting — as part of a newly created position — a Sales Manager / Key Account Manager (M/F).
Reporting to the Customer Support Director, you will support your partners in their digital transformation journey and the deployment of connected solutions.
These innovative technologies help industrial sites optimize productivity and performance, while providing real-time data on equipment condition, maintenance, and operations.
Main Responsibilities
1. Act as the internal and external reference point for the company’s full portfolio of digital solutions.
2. Lead and implement the commercial strategy for the German market (with potential to expand further later on).
3. Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and continued usage of our solutions.
4. Serve as account executive for key strategic accounts, while also identifying and developing new business opportunities.
5. Deliver presentations and product demonstrations, clearly showcasing the added value of the company’s solutions.
6. Support clients in optimizing their use of the products, ensuring they achieve their objectives and extract maximum value.
7. Collect and relay user feedback to product development teams to drive continuous improvement.
8. Organize training workshops and client sessions to present new functionalities and best practices.
9. Visit clients across the territory (around 6–7 overnight stays per month).
Your Profile
10. Higher technical education (Bachelor’s or Engineering degree) with experience in quarry or mining operations.
11. A strong interest in digital and technological tools used in the construction and mining sectors.
12. Ideally, a technical profile with commercial aptitude, able to understand the operational challenges faced by quarry operators.
13. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical position such as Quarry Engineer, Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Quarry Supervisor.
14. Strong IT literacy and a genuine interest in technology.
15. Fluent in German, with proficiency in French or English.
16. Autonomous, rigorous, and a true team player, with solid technical knowledge and strong communication skills.
