Job Description
* Contribute to the development of modern electronic systems and their implementation in the innovative automotive market
* Provide first-level technical support for our key automotive customers in Germany, with a focus on Microcontroller Products in key automotive applications
* Work proactively on optimized solutions for our applications together with the entire European FAE Team, the Account Managers, and the product experts of the headquarters
* Identify technological trends, discuss innovative System Solutions and Application approaches with the customer development teams and collaborate with our System Application Engineers and the global engineering teams to drive optimized new products and technologies
* Understand customers’ use cases and expected functions to be able to shape them into system requirements
* Prepare and execute customer presentations and product/application trainings
Your Profile
As a Staff Engineer Field Application Engineering, you are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high priority. Furthermore, you work conscientiously on making things better, faster, and more efficient. Lastly, you cooperate across boundaries and appreciate the contributions of other people.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
* A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Application, Field Application, or Development Engineer with semiconductor products
* Knowledge and understanding of microcontroller and electronic components
* Strong technical knowledge, competence, and design experience on the system level in automotive applications
* Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven, and proactive
* Excellent communication skills in both German and English, and the ability to interface with customers
* Willingness to travel
