Marketing & PR Manager, Europe (Germany AVS Focus) We’re looking for a Marketing&PR manager with deep Germany AVS (Audio/Video & Home Theater) category experience to own our PR and communication strategy in Europe, with a primary focus on the German market, and support key regional marketing events and campaigns. This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, AVS category expertise, media relations, and on-the-ground activation, working closely with our global HQ and EU sales teams to grow awareness, preference, and love for our brand among home cinema, projector, and AV enthusiasts. If you’re equally comfortable talking nitty-gritty specs with German AV/Tech media, pitching a top-tier journalist, shaping launch narratives, and rolling up your sleeves at an event booth, this is for you. Public Relations & Communications (Core Scope – ~60–70%) Lead the overall PR and communications strategy for Europe, with Germany as the core focus market, aligned with global brand positioning and product roadmap. Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier German AVS, home theater, tech, consumer, lifestyle, and business media, plus key EU outlets. Own launch PR for major product releases (especially projectors / home theater and AV-focused launches): narrative, key messages, press materials, media list, briefing docs, and follow-up. Act as the key contact for German AV reviewers, calibrators, and specialist media, ensuring our products are positioned correctly within the AV category. Manage press office activities: handle incoming media inquiries, product review requests, statements, and interviews. Coordinate with PR agencies (global and local) to ensure consistent messaging, efficient workflows, and measurable results across Germany and other EU markets. Develop localized press releases, media pitches, bylines, and speaking proposals tailored for Germany and other priority EU markets. Prepare and brief spokespeople (and sometimes be the spokesperson) for interviews, panels, and media events, especially where AVS expertise is required. Monitor media coverage, share of voice, sentiment, category and competitive activity in the German AVS space; translate insights into concrete actions and recommendations. Support crisis/issues communications in the region with clear, timely, and aligned responses. Regional Marketing & Events (Support Scope – ~30–40%) Partner with the regional marketing team to plan and execute key EU events, such as trade shows (e.g. IFA), launch events, retail activations, and partner co-marketing — with a strong focus on Germany and AVS-relevant events. Ensure PR and events are tightly integrated: pre-event buzz, on-site storytelling, demo experiences, and post-event content and coverage. Support local consumer and channel campaigns (retail, online, social) with PR angles and AVS-specific content ideas. Coordinate review sample seeding with influencers, AV creators, home theater reviewers, media, and key opinion leaders, ensuring consistent experience, messaging, and technical positioning (brightness, color, sound, gaming, etc.). Help adapt global assets (key visuals, taglines, videos) into locally relevant stories for Germany and EU markets, reflecting AVS use cases (home cinema, gaming, sports-watching, living-room upgrades). Track and report event performance and marketing/PR KPIs, sharing learnings to improve the next cycles. Must-Haves 4–6 years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing, ideally in consumer electronics / AV / home theater / tech. Experience working with German media and/or AV reviewers; you understand how the German AV/tech press works. Hands-on experience supporting product launches, press activities, or brand campaigns in at least one EU market (Germany preferred). Strong writing and storytelling skills in German (native or equivalent) and very good English. Comfortable coordinating with agencies and internal stakeholders across countries and time zones. Basic understanding of how PR, social, influencers, and paid media connect in an integrated campaign. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with deadlines. Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for events, media meetings, and internal workshops. Nice-to-Haves Experience with consumer electronic products, home theater systems, or smart home / lifestyle tech brands. Additional European language skills (e.g. French, Spanish, Italian, or a Nordic language). Experience working in a fast-growing, international company with both HQ and regional stakeholders. Familiarity with influencer marketing and content creators on YouTube, TikTok, and AV/home theater communities and forums.
