Senior Expert Third Party Risk Management (Group Digital Resilience) at Allianz SE Who will you join? Group Digital Resilience is responsible for the governance, standard setting and systematic monitoring within all Allianz operating entities (OEs) across the globe. We define the core professional, procedural and organizational requirements to anticipate and prepare for, and adapt to changes and sudden disruptions in order to protect Allianz’ business operations (IT and Non-IT), personnel and physical assets so that the Allianz Group is better positioned to respond in an effective and efficient manner. Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is a critical component of our Digital Resilience Efforts. For this new team we are looking for a senior expert with a background in Outsourcing or Third Party Risk Management or related activities like provider and contract management. The TPRM function will take care of end-to-end risk management in the context of third parties, ranging from partnerships and procurement contracts to regulatory Outsourcings. Each of the new hires will be working jointly with other colleagues in the TPRM team, focusing on 2-3 out of the listed areas. New hires focus areas will depend on their background, interest and the function's needs. The areas and their respective main focus are listed below: Governance/ Methodology Establishing and maintaining the governance framework (policies, procedures, guidelines and Third-Party Risk Strategy) Establishing and running appropriate oversight bodies (e.g. TPRM Committee) and doing stakeholder management Reporting to Allianz Group's top Management and performing the Regulatory Reporting to the supervisory authority Alignment of risk assessment methods and control overlaps across the Allianz governance framework Risk & Control Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g. with DORA, Solvency II Outsourcing, EU AI Act) Monitoring risk mitigation Analyzing and mitigating concentration risk in the Group Operational risk management and risk assurance reporting and communication Tooling Alignment of the relevant existing IT tools (SAP Ariba, ORGS, Service Now, etc.) Development, customization and maintenance of a dedicated TPRM tool Tool integration, governance, compliance and data management incl. establishing and maintaining an integrated data model TPRM as a Service - Service Management Service Delivery Management (IT services to organization, SLAs, ) of a service run out of AZ Technology and AZ Services Incident and problem management Contract Change & Maintenance Coordination of regulatory changes as well as of change requirements from individual functions Coordination of contract change projects and monitoring of Contract Performance Testing/Quality Assurance Test strategy (incl. definition of metrics and reporting) planning, execution and reporting Automation strategy, data management and Data quality Functional monitoring to ensure sufficient oversight over OE TPRM functions Partner Interface Point of contact for external partners, relationship management Ensure partnership selection and framework are aligned with the Group's internal rules What are you made of? Minimum Qualifications Relevant University degree (business, law, risk management, etc.) Team player, strong networker, ability to work on cross-functional and cross OE topics Fluent English and any additional language skills also welcome Advanced user of MS Teams and MS Office Attention to detail, critical thinking Project management skills and problem-solving attitude In addition, these area specific qualifications would be a plus if you are interested in working for a specific area: Governance/ Methodology : Experience in establishing and maintaining policies, procedures, guidelines and strategy Experience in Establishing and running appropriate oversight bodies (e.g. TPRM Committee) and doing stakeholder management. Management reporting Experience. Understanding of risks and control and underlying assessment methods, good understanding of AZ system of governance and corporate rules book needed. First hand experience from insurance or Allianz business is a clear plus Risk & Control: Working knowledge of applicable regulatory environment (e.g. with DORA, VAIT), experience in operational risk mitigation monitoring, experience in analyzing / mitigating and reporting on risk and risk assurance Tooling : Knowledge of a third-party related tool landscape and individual tools; capability to manage IT projects from business perspective and to define business requirements Third Party Risk Management as a Service : Experience in service delivery management and incident / problem management Contract Change & Maintenance : Experience in contract management or procurement Testing/Quality Assurance : Experience in defining test strategy, planning, execution and reporting Partner Interface : Experience in dealing with external partners (e.g. brokers, strategic partnerships) Preferred Qualifications 5 years of professional experience in the insurance industry with 1 years minimum experience in the area of Outsourcing / Procurement / Third Party Risk Management / Supplier Management Experience in dealing with supervisory authorities and working in the area of provider management / procurement a plus Reliable, highly committed, precise working style combined with analytical and conceptual skills Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities Ability to build collaborative working relationships, manage stakeholder and ability to work in virtual, international and complex team environments Ability to work self-responsible and autonomously, also at times of high pressure Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution Do we have what you need?
