Company Overview:

Our client a global provider of clinical services, specializing in the biopharma, biotechnology, and healthcare industries. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team remotely in Germany, with a primary focus on clinical services and customized solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business-to-business (B2B) sales, ideally within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical research sector.

Role Overview:

This is a key position responsible for driving business growth and securing new business opportunities for the company's clinical research and trial services. The Business Development Manager will oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure within an assigned territory. The role will require engagement with existing accounts and new prospects to achieve pipeline and sales goals, while contributing to the company's overall revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation & Sales :
Identify and generate new sales leads through a variety of channels, including outbound sales calls, trade show participation, digital inbound leads, and market research .
Actively pursue new target accounts and establish strong, ongoing relationships.

* Account Management :
Maintain regular engagement with existing accounts through virtual and face-to-face meetings. Work to expand business opportunities within these accounts and foster long-term relationships.

* Proposal Development : Partner with the proposals team to develop tailored proposals and manage negotiations to ensure both client satisfaction and business profitability.

* Travel & Networking :
Travel up to 50% for client visits, industry conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and build relationships.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Education :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
Preference for candidates with a background in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or clinical research .

* Experience :
At least 5 years of proven B2B sales experience, with a focus on customized solutions-based selling .
A background in biotech, CRO, pharma, or clinical services is highly preferred.
