We are a fast growing, global technology service company looking for a customer centric and sales driven Key Account Manager – Defense Germany to strengthen our sales team and to build growth within selected German defense customers globally. You will work together with our global defense domain teams and German business organization consisting of service‑minded and professional experts. The work requires travelling to customers and Etteplan’s locations, mainly in Europe. Our team works in hybrid mode and from time to time there is flexibility to work from home as well. Your role: As a Key Account Manager – Defense Germany, you will be responsible for sales, leading and developing cooperation with your defense customers as well as identifying new business opportunities for long‑term growth within the defense sector. You act as the key commercial interface to your customers, with a strong network in sector and understanding of defense‑specific environments, requirements and procurement structures Additionally, you will: Develop global key accounts within the defense and military sector Build trusted relationships with military, governmental and defense‑industry stakeholders Identify, qualify and drive new business opportunities within the defense sector Develop and execute strategic customer plans, including stakeholder mapping and growth initiatives Identify synergies between defense and civilian business, translating defense needs into scalable technology service solutions Lead commercial negotiations, contracts and long‑term agreements Report, forecast and manage financial performance of selected defense customers Your experience and background: We expect you to be passionate about building customer‑value‑centric growth and business solutions in a defense or military context. Proven experience working with military organizations, defense authorities or defense contractors An established network within the defense ecosystem In addition, you have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or a Military field Several years of experience (5 years) in key account management, sales or business development within a defense or military context Experience in selling technology‑oriented or engineering‑related services True team player and strong skills in complex solution sales and contract negotiations Fluency in German and English, spoken and written A proactive and action taking approach, with the ability to actively drive topics and opportunities forward Aditionally, we highly valuable: You keep a clear focus on customer value and delivered results while acting thoughtfully and responsibly in complex customer environments.
