Luxembourg's finance industry is a major player with a commitment to responsible banking.
As a Senior Wealth Planner, you will guide bankers and clients on personal taxation, relocation, residential real estate investment, succession planning, and wealth structuring. You will have in-depth knowledge of Luxembourg civil and tax law, particularly in matters of direct tax, indirect tax, and cross-border issues.
* Analyze and summarize multiple options to propose pragmatic solutions while considering compliance and statutory provisions.
* Participate in working groups or committees as an expert in Wealth Management.
* Assess and monitor changes in legal and tax news in wealth management matters and keep clients and bankers informed of opportunities and risks.
* Develop technical records, templates, brochures, and reference documents and maintain them up-to-date.
* Give presentations and deliver training for colleagues.
* Share best practices, knowledge, and experience with the team by playing an active role at team meetings and contributing to global team projects.
The ideal candidate should have a Master's in Law with in-depth knowledge of civil law and indirect taxation. Additional knowledge of international law is recommended. At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience in an audit/tax advisory firm, law firm, or financial institution is required.
Good knowledge of French or German and English (spoken and written) is necessary. The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues is also essential. The selected candidate will be asked to provide an extract from the criminal record as evidence of integrity and justified regarding the specific needs of the position to be filled.
