As part of its continued growth, our client is looking for a
Head of Finance
to lead and manage the local finance function while working closely with international stakeholders.
Reporting to senior management, your responsibilities will include:
Leading and developing the
Finance team , fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Overseeing
end-to-end accounting operations
(monthly and yearly closings, financial controls, procedures)
Ensuring the
accuracy and reliability of financial statements
and reporting
Managing
Financial Planning & Analysis
(budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
Supervising
treasury activities
(cash management, bank relationships, reconciliations)
Overseeing
tax matters
(direct and indirect taxation)
Ensuring
compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborating closely with
Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams
Acting as the main point of contact for
internal and external auditors
Driving
process improvements and automation
within the finance function
Contributing to
international and cross-functional projects
Profile
Degree in Finance / Accounting with a professional qualification ( ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent )
Minimum
5 years of experience
in accounting/finance, ideally within a
regulated financial environment
(banking, financial institutions, etc.)
Strong knowledge of
Luxembourg GAAP
(IFRS/US GAAP is a plus)
Proven experience in
financial reporting, closing processes, and controls
Strong understanding of
international and multicultural environments
Advanced proficiency in
Excel and financial systems
Strong leadership, analytical mindset, and ability to work autonomously
Fluent
