Acting as a strategic right hand to the CEO, this role orchestrates executive governance, drives critical cross-functional initiatives, and optimizes organizational decision-making to ensure the executive team operates at peak efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Operations & Governance
* Own executive cadence: Structure and facilitate the "rhythm of business," including yearly planning, quarterly reviews, and regular management meetings
* Manage the process for KPI reviews and goal tracking to ensure alignment with company strategy
* Manage Executive side of staff planning processes in close cooperation with our Funding Management and People Team
2. Project Management
* End-to-End delivery: Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects from ideation to execution (e.g., non product-side of prevention courses or internal initiatives)
* New funders: Support early-stage operational steps for new/potential funders and internal perspective before they are handed over to specific departments
3. Stakeholder Management & CEO Support
* Act as an interface for the CEO regarding critical functions, specifically FUM, Fundraising, and People topics
* Bandwidth optimization: Pre-process information and manage stakeholder expectations to allow the CEO to focus on high-leverage activities
4. Organizational Excellence & Process Design
* Operational backbone: Establish and refine internal processes, specifically improving decision-making frameworks
* Tooling & workflows: evaluate the right tools to ensure scalable, transparent workflows across the organization
Your profile
* Several years of relevant professional experience (5+ years)
* You owned roles as e.g. (Senior) Project Manager, Staff Manager, Chief of Staff, Operations Manager in preferably one of the following backgrounds: Management consulting, operations, real estate, architecture or program management
* Proven experience in managing complex projects with internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership
* Exceptional navigation of sensitive dynamics
* Strong ability to structure and prioritize complex issues and prepare them for decision-making
* Hands-on mentality: You take initiative and see things through from initial draft to implementation
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
* You communicate with empathy, firmness and always in alignment with the social impact mission

krisenchat is a nationwide, free support service for children and young adults in need. We offer children and young people professional psychosocial counselling - every day, 24 hours a day, via WhatsApp or text message. krisenchat has been available 24/7 since the beginning of May 2020 - since then, the many crisis counselors have been able to help in over 120.000 crisis situations. Since 1 March 2022, krisenchat Ukrainian has also been providing confidential crisis counseling in Ukrainian and Russian for people affected by war at any age - with over 23.000 consultations provided. In addition to crisis counseling, krisenchat reaches many millions of young people every year through psychoeducation via social media platforms.
