Area of activity
- Conceptualization of suitable machine learning solutions for specific customer projects
- Communicating best practices for the use of machine learning in automation to internal and external target groups, including the preparation and execution of workshops.
- Implementation of proof-of-concepts to assess the feasibility and functionality of machine learning solutions in an industrial context
- Technical support for internal and external projects for the implementation of machine learning solutions in PLC applications
- Development of reference applications for validating new product features and use cases
- Development of demonstrators to illustrate machine learning applications
- systematic testing of new functions of TwinCAT machine learning products
- close collaboration with software product management and software development to improve TwinCAT standard products
- interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration with colleagues from the fields of image processing and measurement technology
- Customer and application support for machine learning products
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in the field of automation technology, data science, mechatronics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the application of deep learning to solve problems, e.g. in the areas of image processing, anomaly detection, process monitoring, process optimization or signal prediction.
- very good programming skills in Python
- Good programming skills in the field of PLCs (structured text)
- Experience with our TwinCAT automation software is desirable.
- independent, structured and reliable work ethic, combined with "out-of-the-box" thinking skills for finding solutions
- Enjoyment of dedicated and team-oriented collaboration
- Strong communication skills for clearly presenting complex technical issues
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips, including in an international environment
- very good German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills (at least B2 level) in spoken and written form.
